2023 Fisker EMotion – Detailed First Look Review
Fisker Automotive is an American automotive company specializing in plug-in hybrid electric vehicles. The company was founded in July 2007 by Danish entrepreneur and billionaire Henrik Fisker. The headquarters are located in Irvine, California, United States.

The company is named after its founder Henrik Fisker and his childhood friend, automotive designer and manufacturer Robert A. Fisker. The EMotion is one of the first models to be released by the new version of Fisker Automotive, following the failure of the original company, which filed for bankruptcy in 2013.

Fisker announced that it will start selling the EMotion in 2023 with a price tag of $125,000.

2023 Fisker EMotion will be able to travel 620 miles on a single charge and will be able to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph from standstill in less than five seconds with its powertrain capable of 644 horsepower and 981 lb ft of torque.

Fisker claims that the EMotion can charge up to 80% capacity within 40 minutes with a 400kW charger and that it can achieve a top speed of 161 mph.

Its regenerative braking system will get energy back into its batteries when decelerating or driving downhill which enables.

The Fisker EMotion is the second car manufactured by Fisker Automotive after the Fisker Karma. Production of the EMotion 2023 began in January 2019 and the first deliveries are expected to begin in late 2019 or early 2020. The EMotion was unveiled at CES 2019.

The EMotion is a plug-in hybrid sports sedan and its powertrain consists of two electric motors, one mounted on each axle, with a total system output of 960 horsepower (700 kW). Its lithium-ion battery pack has an estimated range of 400 miles (640 km) on a single charge. The maximum speed of the car is 161 mph (259 km/h).

The exterior styling of the Emotion was previewed by a design study called the 'Aura', which debuted at the Los Angeles Auto Show in 2018. The interior features an electronic instrument panel in place of a traditional gauge cluster, a 21 inch display replacing the center console, fully digital driver's seat and steering wheel, touch sensitive door handles and rear seats that can be folded flat while driving to offer additional cargo space. By way of comparison, its overall length is slightly longer than that of Mercedes-Benz's S-Class flagship sedan but it has just two seats available.
